I had to disengage from queer community. I’ve experienced what you’ve experienced. It feels like too many are operating out of unresolved trauma and attachment to the attention and status that victim identity brings these days.

We do eat our own. One scintilla of power and we’re quick to pass those traumas onto to our queer associates without even realizing our cruelty. I, for my health and sanity, have left the table.
