If a man (or woman) is unable to process relationship trauma, and therefore chooses to be alone, that is probably healthiest for everyone. The mental health of each individual in this world is not my circus and not my monkey. I would argue in 2024, most of the US population has unprocessed trauma. We have no mental health support in this country and no one to show anyone how to properly process their difficult feelings and traumas. Our entire economy is built on stoking loneliness through aggressive hyperindividualism and exploiting each others’ trauma for the algorithm. Why change anything now?
