Nine out of ten women I know are the main breadwinners in their households. I have made more money than almost every partner I’ve had. I’ve also enjoyed having a househusband, who by the way is NOT a single dad any more than a housewife is a single mom. Both are two parent families.

But honestly, most men I’ve dated in life had little ambition, even less desire to improve themselves. They didn’t want to do much more than play video games or exercise while I work all day. So I worked all day and came home to even more work. No thanks.

I think many, many women are very willing to support their male partners today; we just have no interest in supporting a freeloading bum with no life.
