This is false. Trump won 77,284,118 votes, Approximately 47% of which were women, or ~34,770,000. There are roughly 168,000,000 women of voting age in the U.S. Math tells us that only about 20% of American women supported Trump enough to vote for him. That’s a minority; 1 in 5.

And of those 20% of women, many genuinely believed his lies and rhetoric, and were misled into unknowingly voting against their own interests. They might change their minds as Project 25 rolls out.

The problem was all the people who voted neither Kamala nor Trump, and the 37% of voters who just stayed home. In fact more people voted for someone other than Trump than voted for Trump. That’s what let Trump win with only 49% of the popular vote, and a paltry 1.5 margin, the fifth smallest in history.

As always, it’s a regressive but vocal minority who keep us all from having nice things.
