This is lovely, and I do appreciate your experience, but I HATE the honeymoon period, and have no desire to go back there. The uncertainty fills me with so much anxiety that it shuts my libido down. Some people call it New Relationship Anxiety (NRA), and it's incredibly unpleasant for some of us. In contrast, my sexual desire for my partner only grows the more familiar, comfortable and stable I feel with him over time. We're not all wired to enjoy excitement, novelty and risk, especially us demisexuals.
