Why would a woman go back to monogamy after getting her needs met by multiple partners? Because polyamory is exhausting and monogamy is just easier. Because there’s more to life than romantic relationships. Just because one has the capacity to love multiple people doesn’t mean one has the capacity or desire to maintain multiple relationships. Career, spouse, kids, friends, hobbies, household chores, self-care, etc. take up most people’s time. Practicing poly is a privilege for those with the luxury of spare time and extra spoons.
